Dr. V.K. Shah is extensively trained in stenting and has used all variety of stents while being trained in France at University of Rouen which is a high volume centre for Angioplasties.

He has used new devices like Rotablators, Atherectomy devices, Doppler Wires, IVUS and Angioscopies in France at the University of Rouen. 

He has performed Aortic, Mitral and Pulmonary Valvuloplasties in Children and Adults in more than 100 cases.

Performed Coronary Angiography on emergency basis in acute myocardial infarction in 25 patients while studying for thrombolytic therapy and was awarded for the same.

Performed Primary Angioplasties and Rescue Angioplasties in more than 200 patients.

Individually implanted Permanent Pacemakers in more than 300 patients.

Experienced in Electrophysiologic studies and has several research papers published.

Individually performed more than 10,000 Cardiac Catheterization and Coronary Angiographies.

Managed all acute cardiac emergencies in 10 bedded I.C.C.U. at the L. T. M. G. Hospital.

Managed all variety of cardiac cases in 20 bedded cardiology ward at L. T. M. M. College and L. T. M. G. Hospital.

Managed critical sick newborn and infants with congenital heart disease.

Trained in U.S.A. for Color Doppler and Carotid Doppler.
